Imparting prophecies 1 Corinthians 14:1-10

Thought of the day:” How will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes.”( 1 Corinthians 14:7) I am amazed that the level of tuning into God of Paul was so sharp that he knew the difference between speaking in tongues and prophesying. Speaking in tongues is one stage of our relationship building with the Trinity, prophesying is the next level up when there is a switch from being moved close to God to being so close to his heart that He says that the time is right to speak through you in an earth language, because He has a message to share. This reminds me that to serve people, you have to put God first, you can’t impart prophecies unless you have this regular life of worship and prayer which brings you to the heart of God. And that means, being able to hear him, silence helps hear him, silence in us and around us, if not, he’ll keep throwing passages of scripture at you to affirm the work he is doing through you and in you as well a your calling. Prayer:”Lord, tune me, sharpen me, as you have brought me so close to you to be able to speak to you in a language only you can understand, let me be your loud speaker to tell people your will for them. In the power of the Trinity. Amen.”
