He Offered up prayers and petitions with fervent tears and cries.Hebrews 5:1-10

Thought for the day:”Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered.” ( Hebrews 5:8)

God s selection process to the priesthood is unrivalled, unequalled: cry, shout, shed tears, suffer. In a nutshell, if you’ve go it comfy, you can’t qualify, but being tested, retested and overtested until you reach out to him earnestly, honestly, even passive aggressive “Oy! what’s it to be now?” Will be accepted, because it is a true reflection of where you are at and your closeness with God, close enough to be straight with him.

This is not the first example in the Bible of God choosing people who have been overtested, even those who did not want testing and were disobeying, ended up being tested in order to be obedient.

So testing, trials are not to be avoided, but welcome to show our obedience in order for him to select us, he puts the last first, those who raise themselves without his anointing fall, ending up last because they disobey him.

Prayer:” Lord, in everything and in every step or word, help me check in with you first, for your seal of approval, so that your will and mine are one. In your name, Holy Three. Amen.”
